My 80lb Doberman can bust through our fence. The addition of the ‘dog proofer’ keeps her in and prevents her from terrorizing the neighborhood.
Great idea but I don’t know if my dog can dig through yet as she has not even tried since put in. Seems sturdy and strong and well anchored.

We have had the system for several months now. There was one escape when our dog "bulldozed " through the base of our chain link fence. That has been secured with no further problems. He never even tried to climb or jump over the top which he used to do with ease. We have a relatively large area. The system took several days to install with some frustration. Overall it is a great solution for our athletic escape artist!
The Dog Proofer kit is exactly as advertised! It’s super easy to install and very easy to adjust to fit your fence. We have a four foot black aluminum decorative fence and it was very easy to make this fit. I highly recommend this kit!
The fence went up very easy have two gates put in holds are German shepherds in the yard works great great product thanks
Our Golden Mix is an escape artist. We added the extensions around our entire back yard. They are very sturdy. Took us the better part of a day to put up 350 feet worth, not difficult just time consuming attaching the poles to the posts of our chain link fence. Then running the wire. We are very satisfied with the final result as now we can let our big guy run without worrying he’s going on a walk-about.
I ordered this kit and my new dog is no longer considering jumping the fence.
Installed 90ft of 4.5 ft tall fencing and one gate. Every component is solidly constructed and the installation plan is well thought out. The most difficult part of the installation is getting the post holders in the ground. But then it depends on your soil. I’m in Georgia with lots of red clay. I was able to put the entire thing up and I’m 65 years old. This fence is meant to contain a 90 lb German Shepherd and 70 lb Doberman. It’s doing its job. The one component I would like to see revised is the S hooks for holding the fence sections in place while you install them. They are on the light side. I would like to see larger and more substantial S hooks. One thing I would suggest during installation is to take the time to lay the sections out flat and get the bend out of them before installing. The fencing comes in rolls so it is naturally going to have some bend in it. Overall I am extremely satisfied with this product.
The extension was easy to install and looks good. It's durable and our dogs/kangaroos remain inside the perimeter!
The zip tie puller/cutter tool made it so much easier to securely pull and then squarely cut the heavy duty zip ties that are shipped as part of the Houdini-proof fence product. It makes life a whole lot easier than trying to manually pull and then cut the zip ties yourself without this great tool.
This is exactly what we have been looking for. It blends seamlessly with our aluminum fencing. It was so easy to install and secure.
